Getting started

What the app does:

  • Quick check-ins before/after runs & walks: mood, sleep, energy, hydration, comfort.
  • Simple weekly insights (7–14 days).
  • Optional Strava sync to view distance/pace next to your wellbeing.
  • Privacy-first: you control your data.

Basics

  • You can use the app without Strava.
  • Strava is required only if you want to see performance stats in the app.

FAQs

Do I need Strava?
No. It’s optional. You can log check-ins and see insights without it.

What do the 1–10 scores mean?
1 = very low/poor, 10 = very high/excellent. Be consistent for clearer trends.

I forgot to log after my run—can I add it later?
Yes. Add a check-in later the same day; it will still appear in your weekly view.

Does the app work for walking?
Yes. It’s designed for runs and walks.

Why can’t I see graphs yet?
You’ll need a few entries across 7–14 days for trends to appear.

Is my data private?
Yes. No ads. We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy. You can request export or deletion at any time (see below).

Troubleshooting

Strava won’t connect/sign in

  1. Check you’re on a strong internet connection.
  2. Confirm you’re logging into the correct Strava account.
  3. In Strava (Profile → Apps), revoke access for Mindfulness Strides, then reconnect from our app.
  4. Ensure Strava permissions include activity:read (and heart-rate/elevation if you want those).
  5. Still stuck? Email us with screenshots.

Graphs/insights not showing

  • Make sure you’ve logged entries on multiple days (ideally 7+).
  • Update to the latest app version and relaunch the app.
  • If the issue persists, contact support with your device details.

Audio prompts not playing

  • Check your device volume/silent mode and any Bluetooth/headphone connection.
  • Try another audio output (speaker/earbuds).
  • Restart the app.

Notifications

  • Ensure notifications are enabled for Mindfulness Strides in system settings.
  • Disable battery optimisation for the app if prompts are delayed.

  • App version (Settings → About)
  • Steps to reproduce the issue
  • Screenshots or short screen recording
  • Whether Strava is connected (Yes/No)

Export my data

Email info@lifestylestrides.com with subject “Data Export – Mindfulness Strides” from the email used in the app.

Delete my data

Email info@lifestylestrides.com with subject “Data Deletion – Mindfulness Strides”. We’ll confirm before deletion.
We’ll respond to verified requests within 30 days.
