Our mission is “to inspire and facilitate lifestyle transformations to prevent chronic illnesses like diabetes, heart disease, and certain cancers. We achieve this through a comprehensive holistic health and wellness approach, integrating physical activity, nutritional guidance, and mental well-being.”

Our vision is “to empower individuals to live independently, healthily, and joyfully throughout their lives, embracing vitality and happiness until the very end.”

Meet the Founder - Raji Sundar

My journey from overwhelm to wellness drives my mission.

Raji Sundar is the founder and driving force behind Lifestyle Strides CIC (formerly Midlife Runners CIC). Her personal transformation from overwhelm to wellness inspires her mission to empower others to reclaim their health and happiness.

After a successful career in IT consulting with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and senior leadership roles in supply chain management following an MBA from Bradford School of Management, Raji shifted her focus toward holistic health and wellbeing.

Raji discovered running later in life, completing her first marathon in 2018 and conquering a Himalayan peak in 2019—transformative milestones that reshaped her belief in what’s possible. Facing challenges like injuries, fatigue, and menopause deepened her commitment to wellness, leading her to explore diverse wellbeing practices, including yoga, breathing exercises based on the ancient Patanjali sutras, meditation, and retreats across the UK. Combining these personal experiences with professional qualifications, she developed a comprehensive holistic wellbeing programme.

Under her leadership, Lifestyle Strides CIC has successfully transformed lives through impactful programmes integrating physical activity, nutrition, mindfulness, and habit formation, significantly enhancing participants’ wellbeing. Raji has also been featured in an exclusive interview on BBC and highlighted in Women’s Running magazine for her inspirational work and dedication to community wellness.
