Lifestyle Strides

About Lifestyle Strides

Real people. Real journeys. Real change.

Lifestyle Strides began as a small running community and has grown into a wellbeing organisation supporting people across movement, nutrition, mental wellbeing and community connection.

Our story

From Midlife Runners to Lifestyle Strides

Lifestyle Strides started life as Midlife Runners — a community helping midlife adults rediscover movement, build confidence and find connection through running.

As the community grew, so did the conversations. People wanted support that went beyond running: gentler movement, healthier eating, better mental wellbeing, somewhere to belong. We listened, and the organisation evolved.

Today, Lifestyle Strides supports people across movement, nutrition, mental wellbeing and community — through in-person activities, community projects and digital pathways. The running roots remain, but the doors are open much wider.

Raji — Founder of Lifestyle Strides

Meet the founder

Hello, I'm Raji.

I founded Lifestyle Strides to make wellbeing simple, accessible and enjoyable — blending in-person community activities with digital support that fits into real life.

My background sits at the meeting point of business, health and lived experience: an MBA and years in consultancy, alongside qualifications in running coaching, fitness and nutrition. My own running journey shaped how I think about midlife health — small steps, kept up over time, change everything.

That journey has been featured by the BBC and continues to grow through every person who joins us at a Feel Good Friday, a SMART Walking group, or one of our digital pathways.
